Elkton Library Cell Phone Photography, 4-2019

Elkton Library, CCAC, John Dixon, partner to present a class on Cell Phone Photography. The class was designed around amateur photographers, and public just wanting to learn to take better pictures.

The work from participating staff, and attendees, were printed by John Dixon and displayed in Gallery 301, at Elkton Library.

The pictures displayed in this post were taken by john Dixon with several cell phones, as examples of what ca be captured and edited with proprietary cell phone image editor, and just a little knowledge of your phone.

Photographer Suggestions

• Most important breath normally, do not hold your breath.
• Learn the ins and outs of your phone. Do not fear the manual or online tutorial.
• Keep sun at your back, let sun or natural light source light face of your subject.
• When using flash back away and zoom into your subject so flash does not create hot spot on subject.
• If hands are not steady, use a tripod with a mount to hold your cell phone, tablet, or camera.
• Learn to use manual features of phone if your model has this capability.
