Working with other photographers in a studio was a frustrated experience, especially with young children.  Life to Lens photography met us at the venue we selected and gave our session ample time to get all the shots we wanted while also not feeling pressured by time constraints.  The photographer was patient and knowledgeable.  Life to Lens offers a variety of packages at a very reasonable price.  The photos are individually edited to customer satisfaction.  In the past I have waited awhile for photos to be prepared.  At Life to Lens, the photos were ready promptly and made available to me electronically, convenient for printing and sharing.  Life to Lens has the personal touch to make photo sessions feel natural and the expertise to capture moments that you will treasure for many years to come!


John Dixon I have a photography business, worked in cycling industry, shoot some Freelance Photography for a local paper. I photograph weddings, architecture, landscapes, water scenes, nature, portraits, an occasional fashion show and exhibit a few pieces in a gallery exhibit from time to time. I have three beautiful daughters and rather enjoy being a dad. I’ve been involved in photography for 30 years or more, worked in camera shops, published in both newspapers and magazines. My work has been displayed in shows, ads, hung in office buildings, including several pieces displayed at the House of Delegates in Annapolis. I’m an avid cyclist, road, mountain, some cyclocross, a much younger me some BMX. I worked in the Cycling industry for 20 years or more, as a mechanic at local bike shops, some buying, bike fit, and managerial positions. Photographers Vision: I believe every photo either has or portrays a personality, mood, or an emotion to be discovered. The image should stir some emotion through detail, complexity, simplicity, or possibly desire. Every individual will view my work and react to it differently.
